1.0.2 coming

A boring 1.0.2 release has been uploaded to the iTunes store. It should be approved in the next couple of days.

Don't feel obligated to download it if you aren't having the Hints pop-up problem. The release adds a setting that lets you turn them off.

Update: Made it into the store on Friday.

Thanks! Any time frame on a search function release?

Hi Jeff -

Making some real good progress on search this weekend.

If we were to wait for me to have my "fantabulous" search functionality with all the bells and whistles done, it might be a month before I could release it. I'd like to get something out to you as soon as possible, though, so I think I'll release basic search first and then add to it with subsequent releases.

I'd like to have my first iteration done by the end of the weekend. Then give my beta testers a couple days with it. Then give Apple 4 days after I upload it to the store to approve it. I hope you have it on your device within a week and a half. That's my hope.

That's awesome Bruce! I Really enjoy the way I can flip thru passages. Best bible in the app store for reading IMO.

Unfortunately I missed my weekend deadline (partly due to a cold I came down with) but still made a *lot* of progress. Working on the last (albeit most complicated) screen. I'll post when the release is imminent.

Glad you like the readability, Jeff. That is the most important aspect of a Bible app in my mind and why I spent a fair amount of time on it.
