I got it.

Looks good. This is the only Versewise Bible I have and I like the way it's laid out.

Thanks

Thanks Ben! Let me know if you have any suggestions to make it better.

I plan on adding user bookmarks and highlighting next. This will be after I roll out the 2.1 release for the other translations.

I can't download it on my iPod touch 2.1 will I need to upgrade my os if I want to purchase this item? Thanks

Yes, I needed to go to OS 3.0 to get the toolbar and rotation working correctly. Sorry!

On the plus side, I think OS 3.0 is worth the $10 upgrade for iPods. Not only is there new functionality (like search) but operations like web browsing in Safari is noticeably faster. I say go for it! :)

thanks! I will be upgrading to 3.0! God bless and keep up with the good work!

I was about to buy the RSV-CE from the app store via my ipod-touch and noticed that there are two listings for the RSV-CE. Data is identical, i.e. version and price. Which is the correct one?

There are two RSV releases: RSV (standard) and RSV-CE (Catholic edition). If you want the Catholic Bible with Catholic notes, get the RSV-CE.

Let me know if I can be of more assistance!

Looks ok now. Yesterday, there were 2 RSV-CE's that were identical in all respects as far as I could tell. Today, there's only one.

Thanks anyway for the response. Will get it over the weekend.

Must have been a hiccup in the store. Glad it's back to normal!

Hi Bruce,
I tried to get RSV-CE version when you first released it however it was not available in the UK. I checked the Apps Store today and it's still not available.
I don't know how Apple works these things. Any ideas? Will it be available in the UK?

All the best

John

I'm sorry! I do not have the license to distribute RSV in the UK. I will see what I can do about that.

Are you planning to also put up the RSV-2CE (2nd Edition Catholic Edition)?

Bruce Geerdes said...

Yes, the 2nd edition is a possibility. Eventually. It's a separate license, with a different publisher, so I probably have to wait for my current license to expire. Or at least have the forward paid off. :)
